Ramadan
ramadan is an awesome and inspiring affair. i'm not being sarcastic in anyway here, but ever since entering the police academy where majority of my colleagues are muslim, i find it intriguing in so many levels.the divine devotion and discipline muslims have for this month has taught me so much about the muslim religion and it's dedication to dictate sacrifice.
fasting for 12 hrs and inbetween doing your everyday chores such as training and work. following that 11 bows of prayers. i'm really impressed and at awe at such a sacred act that has been in practice for centuries and that has not been blotted down by the materialistic worldly affairs of our degrading society.
