as usual, the germans took the swedes out with much ease. a 2-0 scoreline was enough to seal their victory, but i must say they've really improved since the last world cup, considering now the whole team is playing and not ballack alone. nazi power!
argentina is up next. GO LIONEL MESSI! haha. i'm super hyped up too see all the young guns perform now. hah... they're only abt a year or 2 my senior, but they're playing world class football and earning SHIT LOADS of monay of it. fark man.. i'm gonna work hard to find a cure for aids, make sure i sell it expensive and get all the monay in the world to buy my own soccer club! RAWRR!
anyway, i was roaming around charles's photo wall where he pastes, obviously, photos of his friends. like a hall of fame kinda thing. to my surprise, i stumbled upon a pic of me 2 years ago where i was chilling outside cheers with nick and the qi rong. to my amazement, i didnt know i looked so young!!! and right now, 2 years after, i'm looking like ive aged 10 years. from my tan and i guess thanks to the weights ive been doing, i've grown!! hahaha. i use to be some what small and scrawny, and well honestly. much younger and carefree. ahhh the good ole days. haha if i can find the photo again, ill post it up.
so today was super long, and i'm in awe at being awake and still kicking after spending my entire afternoon and half my morning in kallang. blistered by the hot sun and then being taunted by the fucking rain. singapore's weather has a problem i tell. it can be super hot at one point of time and suddenly it can rain heavily. the only reason why singapore's workforce is being so unproductive is probably due to the weather i tell u! its just causing all the flu and sickness!
race is next week.. and i'm quite hype to get back into the boat and show our worth. and again, that anxious feeling creeps back in, i am nervous, but this time it's 7 days before rather than a day. and i'm not even pack ic now. oh balls. this aint good. =/.
ive yet to watch cars, over the hedge and superman is coming out this thursday.. bahhhhhh...
school's about to start =(. and i'm not exactly looking forward to it. i was just starting to enjoy my freedom. hah. there goes the late night hauntings to al azhar and world cup. ITALY!!!!!
speaking of which, my mom actually knows what's going on ard the world cup circle, she just discussed with me about micheal owen's injury and how england will not go on to win the world cup! i've got a cool mom!!!! I BET THE REST OF YOU DONT HAVE MOM WHO CAN TELL YOU THE SCORES OF THE MATCHES! I DO I DO! hahaha. she can even tell me what matches are good to watch!
